The code opens our free Access Helper at assistancedogregistry.co.uk. No app, no account, nothing to sign up for.

• A statement to show the person refusing you - plain wording explaining that your dog is an assistance dog, that access is a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act 2010, and that an ADUK card, yellow booklet or charity membership is not a legal requirement.
• Step-by-step help for the exact objection you are facing - they want an ADUK card, only charity-trained dogs are accepted, no dogs allowed, food hygiene, my dog does not look official. Choose the reason and get the right words for it.
• The law in 30 seconds - quoting official EHRC guidance confirming that owner-trained assistance dogs have the same access rights, and that certification cannot lawfully be demanded.
• Record what happened - if you are still refused, you can report it in about a minute. Your report joins the UK's first record of where assistance dog handlers are turned away, helping hold businesses to account and improve access for everyone. Anonymous, and no account is needed.
