Every week, handlers tell us the same thing, turned away from a pub, a taxi, a shop or a hotel, questioned, or asked for paperwork that doesn't even exist. It's against the law, and it mostly goes unrecorded. We want to change that, but we can't do it without you.
We're building a better, fairer place for assistance dogs and their handlers across the UK, one where you can walk into anywhere, like anyone else, without a second thought. To make businesses and decision-makers actually listen, we need more than stories. We need hard numbers: how often it happens, where, why, and what it does to people's lives.
That's where you come in. A few minutes of your time becomes evidence, and evidence is what turns "this isn't fair" into real change.
Your responses go into a public report and press campaign aimed squarely at getting businesses to understand the law and treat handlers properly. The more handlers who take part, the louder and harder this is to ignore.
This isn't rare. UK research already shows how routine these refusals are, which is exactly why we need your evidence to turn it into numbers no business can ignore.
